THE RULES

Fantasy Finance is a game of skill which tests the ability of players to make the right portfolio management decisions over the duration of the game. Players make decisions on what to buy or sell, how much to buy or sell and when to buy or sell. A player’s success is dependent solely on their skill and strategies relative to other players rather than the absolute performance of financial markets.

Fantasy Finance is FREE to play. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter and win a Competition. Although certain Fantasy Finance in-app purchases are available to enhance game play, such features may not help a competitor’s chances of winning.

Eligibility. To be eligible to win a Competition, you must be registered with Fantasy Finance. Furthermore, you can only have one Profile. Users with multiple profiles will be barred from winning prizes. Certain countries and jurisdictions may bar you from entering a Competition. In such cases you may not enter any Competition.

Entry into the Competition will be deemed as an acceptance of these rules.

Fantasy Finance may impose a particular age limit in relation to any of the Competitions, otherwise they are open to all persons at the date of their entry. However, Fantasy Finance reserves the right to require that the parent or guardian of any person aged 18 or less confirms in writing that they agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of a Competition and will accept any prize on behalf of an under-18 prize winner.

Employees of Fantasy Finance or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with a Competition or helping to set up a Competition may, at our discretion, enter a Competition. However, they are explicitly excluded from winning prizes. 

Fantasy Finance reserves the right to cancel or amend a Competition. Any changes to a Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Fantasy Finance.

When given, prizes to winners are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and Fantasy Finance, or its associates, reserves the right to refuse any prize without giving notice. One or more winners will be chosen based on the competition rules for the events.

Winners will be notified after the close of a Competition. Prizes are typically paid out at the end of every month. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 30 days of notification, Fantasy Finance reserves the right to withdraw the prize from that winner and pick an alternative winner. Competition prizes will be awarded to the winners at the discretion of Fantasy Finance, or its associates. 

Prizes will be paid in a manner convenient to Fantasy Finance alone. Where such means are not available in certain countries, e.g. the use of PayPal, Fantasy Finance will not be under any obligation to make a prize payment. When we request it, It is your responsibility to ensure the details you provide to process your prize are correct.

Fantasy Finance may at its sole discretion disqualify any entrant from any Competition who fails to meet the eligibility criteria or whom Fantasy Finance suspects of foul play. This includes taking advantage of bugs in the Fantasy Finance services. In the event that any entrant is disqualified from the Competition, Fantasy Finance may decide whether a replacement should be selected. In this event, any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these rules. It will be Fantasy Finance’s, or its associates, sole decision as to whether any eligibility requirement has or has not been met and we may require evidence or confirmation from entrants before awarding prizes.

Fantasy Finance’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winners agree to the use of their name, image and game result in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

Competitions and promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Apple, Google, Facebook, Sapchat, Twitter or any other Social Network. Entrants are providing their information to Fantasy Finance and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the Fantasy Finance Privacy Policy. 

Tax Liabilities. Fantasy Finance Ltd is not a tax adviser and strongly recommends that if you have any questions concerning how any incentive or prize may affect your specific tax liabilities, you contact a tax expert. Notwithstanding, please note that for any U.S. residents incentives and prizes are generally viewed by the IRS as a rebate and are not taxable income. Taxes generally only come into play with prizes totalling over $600 annually, for which you will receive a Form 1099-MISC from Fantasy Finance.

THE GAME 

• The objective of the game is to achieve the highest possible increase in the value of a portfolio during the game period 
• Games typically start at 09:30 and end at 20:00 US Eastern Time (ET). 
• Players can join the game at any time before a game ends. 
• If a player joins after a game ends, they will be entered into the next upcoming game
• Each player starts with 25 instruments in their Watchlist, 5 of which are chosen during the initial registration process  Players can subsequently unlock and add instruments to their Watchlist. 
• Players may be able to improve their performance by using additional game features. These include unlocking additional instruments to trade, power-ups and undos, and using them during the course of the game.
• Game bundles will only be available for one hour after a player joins a game 
• Items bought in a Game bundle are available until used on any day.
• Players can make changes to their portfolios at any time. Crypto trades will be executed automatically. US stocks will be traded during US exchange hours. Orders placed while the markets are closed will be executed as soon as possible after the market opens. 
• A player’s beginning portfolio value will be assessed either at 09.30 ET or when the player joins the game after 09:30 ET. 
• A player’s ending portfolio value will be assessed at 20:00 ET
• The difference between the beginning and ending values will be calculated as a percentage increase or return.
• This percentage return will determine their position in the final Leaderboard.

• Prize money may increase dynamically the more players buy Coins during the game.

THE PRIZES

Each game will have a cash prize pot divided between individuals who finish in the top ten positions of the Leaderboard. Pay-out sizes will vary depending on the amount of cash received from net coin purchases since the previous game’s close, and before the current game’s close. So, the more players, the bigger the prizes!
